Peter began his career filming Mark Burnett’s flagship series, Survivor, at 20-years old. Living amongst the nomadic Survivor camp for five years and 13 seasons, Peter traveled to the most remote corners of the world as the youngest producer of the groundbreaking series. After cutting his teeth producing under Burnett, Peter expanded his skill set to become a sought after Showrunner/Executive Producer for the world’s top adventure networks. Over the years, he has produced and directed a number of hit series for National Geographic, Discovery, MTV, Travel and History. Peter is committed to developing and producing compelling content with purpose. He believes storytellers have a distinct responsibility to bring entertaining, authentic stories to the screen; stories that inspire action, progress, social equality and environmental conservation.
~Art is not a mirror held up to reality but a hammer with which to shape it.~ Bertolt Brecht
After trotting the globe working for CBS, the Discovery Channel and National Geographic, Peter pauses to capture unknown, hidden stories that require embedding into the many communities he calls home. The award winning bilingual documentary, Sofia is one example. This inspiring story traces the journey of a World Champion female surfer from Peru on her quest to the world title as she becomes a role model for an impoverished community in need of breaking stereotypes.
